Rinse and scrub the potatoes and cook in water with a little salt for approx. 7-10 min. The potatoes must be almost completely tender. Pour the potatoes to drain in a sieve. They must be completely dry.
Slice the potatoes across, put them on a griddle and put them on the grill for approx. 10 min. Turn them over and over again.
Sprinkle salt on serving.
tips:
Place the wood splashes in cold water one hour before use - so they better tolerate the strong heat from the grill.
