Salt
1canPeeled tomatoes blended and add
1Medium onion chop finely and FRY in oil
1tspDried kruse Mint
2pcsAllspice
250gLarge white beans (ca. 3 cm long)
5-6Whole peppercorns

To prepare the Giant Beans Baked in the Oven (Fassolia Gigantes Plaki) recipe, please follow these instructions:

The beans are put into water overnight and boiled in unsalted water for approx. 2 hours. (In a pressure cooker it only takes about 10 minutes.)

The whole little snap for 20 min.

Put the boiled beans in a refractory dish and pour the sauce over. You may need to add water or olive oil (preferably oil) but DO NOT swim in sauce.

Put in a 200 degree hot oven for approx. ½ hour - the surface may become light brown.

As the lunch, the beans are served hot or cold with feta cheese, bread and 1 glass retsina!
