Instructions for Fried chicken from New Orleans
To prepare the Fried chicken from New Orleans recipe, please follow these instructions:
Share the chicken in the thigh and breast. Rinse and dry the chicken.
Beat eggs and milk together in a deep dish. Mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a plastic bag.
Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture then 2 at a time and put them in the plastic bag with the flour. Shake the bag so the flour and spices sit anywhere on the chicken pieces.
(Sauter) heat oil in a frying pan. and fry the chicken pieces 8 – 10 minutes on each side. Turn them only once.
Let chicken pieces drain on absorbent paper and serve immediately fat.
Serve with roasted bacon, cucumber slices, corn on the cob or løskogte corn and slices of banana and pineapple.
