To prepare the Expensive steaks with potatoes and apples recipe, please follow these instructions:

Cut 2 large baking potatoes into thin slices. Fry them Golden, crispy and tender in butter in a frying pan. Serve them on plates with flat-leaf parsley and keep warm in the oven.

Brown 2 expensive steaks on both sides in butter in a hot frying pan. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and a little groftkværnet crushed juniper berries. Reduce the heat and allow the meat 2-3 min. on each side. Take the meat up and keep it hot. Boil the pan with 1 dl venison and Mushroom broth.

Cut 2 red apples in both. Grate them golden brown in a pan with 2 chopped shallots and a few sprigs of fresh thyme.
