Instructions for Deer pot
To prepare the Deer pot recipe, please follow these instructions:
This casserole will be better of to be prepared the day before it is to be eaten, so the flavor penetrates properly through.
Brown the meat well tag it up. Do the same with vegetables and mushrooms.
Put meat and vegetables back into the pan. Add the crushed juniper berries, approx. 3 dl of red wine and water, so it just covers the meat. Cook until the meat is barely finished.
Make a jævning of 2 tablespoons. flour and a little water. Give the suit with soy and season with salt and pepper.
Keel the pot quickly down and store it in the fridge for the next day. Warm it up the next day and serve with boiled potatoes.
Tips:
The Court shall serve with it along all the boiled quite tender, it takes a few hours.
