Instructions for Cold-fried French bread with crisp crust
To prepare the Cold-fried French bread with crisp crust recipe, please follow these instructions:
Pour the cold water into the bowl and stir the yeast. Add salt and sugar and pour into the water. Finally put the flour in. It is best to make it in a stirrer, since the dough should not be completely solid but slightly liquid.
Cover the dough and allow it to cool for 5-6 hours or overnight.
Sprinkle some flour on the table and gently pour the dough so that it does not lose too much of its raising and split it into two with a scraper or the like and put the bread on a baking sheet.
Leave them for 15-30 minutes while the oven is heated to 250 degrees (oven).
Put a dish of boiling water in the bottom of the oven and then put the bread into the middle of the oven.
After 10 min the heat is turned down to 225 degrees and the bread is baked for another 15-20 minutes.
tips:
I also do it sometimes with 5-grain mix and it will also be very good.
