Ingredients for Coarse Bread
100 | g | Wholemeal rye flour |
2 | tsp | Salt |
200 | g | Wheat flour |
3.5 | dl | Buttermilk |
300 | g | Wholemeal wheat flour or whole wheat flour |
50 | g | Yeast |
Instructions for Coarse Bread
To prepare the Coarse Bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix flour and salt, make a dug in the middle and crumble the yeast in it. Lun the buttermilk to make it hand warm and pour it over the yeast. Leave it warm and covered for approx. 45 min. Slowly smooth the dough and allow it to rise again and cover for approx. 1½ hours. Re-pour the dough again and form it into an elongated bread. Place it on the baking sheet and allow it to adhere for approx. 15 min. Rip the surface lightly and brush with water. Bake bread at 175º for approx. 1¼ hour. Let it cool off on a baker.
