To prepare the Christmas hearts and cake makers recipe, please follow these instructions:
Ginger, honey and butter or margarine are heated in a pan until the sugar is completely melted. The pot is taken from the heat. The mixture is cooled. The soda and spices are sifted together with most of the flour and stirred in. The dough is well kneaded and rests for an hour and then rolled in ½ cm thick on a floured table. Spelled out as hearts and cookmakers. Put in preheated oven and baked approx. 10 min at 200 degrees. Should the cakes be hung up, holes will be poured into them immediately after baking. The cakes are cooled and decorated with icing.
