Instructions for Buttermilk Soup
To prepare the Buttermilk Soup recipe, please follow these instructions:
Bring flour and sugar well into a thickened pot and stir with the buttermilk. Lemon peel and vanilla sugar are added and the soup is boiled under strong whipping so it does not separate.
After a short boil, add the raisins and the soup is seasoned with sugar. Eggs whipped with some sugar into a bowl and then turn into the soup.
tips:
Instead of eggs, you can serve whipped cream (about 1 dl whipped cream) to the soup. The roses can be exchanged with sliced almonds.
