Instructions for Basic Recipe
To prepare the Basic Recipe recipe, please follow these instructions:
Melt the margarine. Come and get the milk in it, so have the right temperature to get fermented and dissolve it. Add the flour and sugar and salt and egg. Enjoy it well. If it is not fixed enough, you can get a little more flour. You can also hold on with the milk again. But it may not have the right temperature anymore, so you have to heat it a little again. Let it rise for 25 minutes well covered so it's hot.
Then form a loaf of bread and put on a plate and leave it for 25 minutes. Back on one of the lower grooves, but not completely down at 175 degrees for 25 minutes.
Once it has cooled, you can either sprinkle powder sugar over or make an icing over.
This dough is derived from a recipe with Viennese bread dough. You can get different fillings in it. But it is also suitable for much more, like buns and cinnamon nuts and Christmas bread. Tastes best while it is a bit hot yet.
