1 | Very finely minced garlic cloves | |
1 | Medium-sized chopped onion | |
1 | tsp | Salt |
1 | cup | Thick coconut milk |
2 | tsp | Curry |
2 | tsp | Sambal oelek |
2 | tsp | Soft brown sugar |
4 | Firm bananas | |
4 | tbsp | Desiccated coconut |

To prepare the Banana and coconut carrots recipe, please follow these instructions:
Shake the coconut on a dry pan until it takes color. Pour over a large plate to cool off.
Heat the oil in a wok and rose in it. Add garlic, curry and sambal oelek. Stir thoroughly.
Peel the bananas and cut into 4 cm pieces. Bring them to the wok and stir thoroughly.
Add coconut milk, salt and sugar, stir gently and simmer for 5 minutes.
