Ingredients for Wonderful Kringle
0.5 | tsp | Cinnamon, ground |
0.5 | tsp | Cardamom, ground |
1 | dl | Water |
225 | g | Margarine |
250 | g | Sugar |
3 | Eggs | |
50 | g | Yeast |
50 | g | Raisins |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Wonderful Kringle
To prepare the Wonderful Kringle recipe, please follow these instructions:
Dough
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water, add sugar and crumbled margarine. Let it rise for half an hour and then 450 grams of flour. Let it adhere to approx. 1 hour.
Spread the rest of the flour into a smooth and light dough.
The dough is rolled out in 3 mm thickness and approx. 50 - 70 cm long. Use some flour on the table so the dough is not hanging.
Cut the dough into 4 pieces.
Remonce: Sugar, margarine and cinnamon are heated in a saucepan until it is viscous.
Remonce and raisins place the 4 pieces of dough and then fold to a pastry. Raises ½ hour
Brush with egg and then with sugar and nuts
