0.5 | tsp | Cinnamon |
1 | tbsp | Freshly squeezed orange juice |
1 | nip | Grated nutmeg |
1 | dl | Sugar |
1.5 | dl | Icing sugar |
2 | tsp | Grated orange zest |
2.5 | dl | Milk |
50 | g | Finely chopped or ground almond |
50 | g | Yeast |
8 | dl | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Wheat cakes with icing (Wheatballs)
To prepare the Wheat cakes with icing (Wheatballs) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix the yeast with 37º hot milk and with 1 teaspoon of sugar. Stir 6 dl flour in yeast mixture. Let raise 15 min. A warm place. Heat the oven to 175 °. Stir the remaining ingredients in the dough. Eat the dough well. Take a little over ¼ of the dough and form it for a long roll. Then shape 16 bowls of the rest of the dough. Cover a form of baking paper and place the rolling roll along the edge and do not place the balls in the middle too tightly. Cover and allow to rise for 30 minutes. Put the cake in the oven for 30 minutes. Take the cake and let it swell on a grate. Mix the icing and decorate the cake once it has become cold. Divide the cake into 12 pieces.
