1 1/2 | kg | Boneless elgsteg (or good beef such as Sirloin or lump) |
1-2 | clove | Garlic or alm. Onion |
2 | tbsp | Coarse salt |
2 | dl | Chinese soy sauce |
2 | tsp | Ground black pepper |
4 | dl | Water |
Instructions for Tjällknöl
To prepare the Tjällknöl recipe, please follow these instructions:
Elgstegen (oksestegen) is taken directly from the freezer and put deep frozen at 75-80 degrees for 12 hours.
marinade:
The marinade is prepared by mixing the various ingredients and adding a garlic (it can either be squeezed or cut into slices as desired).
After the 12 hours, the meat is taken out of the oven and placed in the marinade. Meat and marinade are placed in the fridge for 4-6 hours. The meat must be covered or it should be changed periodically. After that, the meat is ready for serving.
