Ingredients for Tabbouleh (Lebanese parsley salad)
0.25 | cup | Fine bulgur |
0.25 | cup | Finely chopped onion |
0.5 | cup | Lemon juice |
0.5 | Fresh finely chopped Mint | |
0.5 | cup | Olive oil |
1 | tsp | Salt (to taste) |
2 | cup | Fine chopped parsley |
250-500 | g | Red tomatoes (to taste) |
Instructions for Tabbouleh (Lebanese parsley salad)
To prepare the Tabbouleh (Lebanese parsley salad) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Chop the parsley and Mint finely by hand, clean it and put it to drain. Washing bulguren and mix it with the chopped tomatoes, and let it stand for 20 min. chop the onions finely and mix the parsley, mint, tomatoes and onions in a bowl. Add lemon juice, olive oil and salt to taste, it can't be too gooey. Serve on a platter or in a bowl and garnish with crisp lettuce leaves.
Tips:
Apply if applicable. a cup of corresponding to ca 2.5 dl.
