Ingredients for Stifado
1 | Small rod whole cinnamon | |
1 | kg | Beef into strips |
1 - 2 | tbsp | Cumin seeds |
1/2 | kg | Pearl onions |
1/4 | l | Beef broth |
140 | g | Tomato puree conc |
2 | Bay leaves | |
2 | tbsp | Olive oil |
2 | dl | Red wine |
3 - 4 | clove | Garlic sliced |
4 | tbsp | Wine vinegar |
Instructions for Stifado
To prepare the Stifado recipe, please follow these instructions:
The beef cut is cut into strips and browned on a pan in olive oil.
Put the meat in a refractory dish and cook the pan with beef broth poured over the meat.
The dish is covered with foil and set in the oven at 160 degrees C. alm. Oven for 1 hour.
Then add the other ingredients except the perløgel and the last olive oil.
Beans are well sprinkled and brined in 2 tablespoons. Olive oil on a pan.
