To prepare the Soup of yellow peas recipe, please follow these instructions:
FRY bacon in a saucepan. Add the diced onions carrots and celery and simmer a bit. Add the yellow pea broth and Bay leaves. Bring to the boil put a lid on. Let Cook on a low heat in 50-60 min. Blend the soup in blender or with a hand blender. Season with salt and pepper. Croutons: cut the bread into cubes and saute in butter/oil and a little paprika on a low heat until dice is golden and crispy. Served to the hot soup.
Tips:
The soup tastes superb and can easily be used for main course since it is very filling. For the main course is calculated double portion.
