Fresh coriander
0.5tspWhole coriander
1tbspFreshly squeezed lemon or lime juice
1canCoconut milk
1tbspTaste neutral oil
1dlWater
2Green chili
2Cinnamon sticks
200gOnion
2-3tspTurmeric
3tbspFintreven ginger
4Whole cloves
4cloveGarlic
4Bay leaves
600gShrimp shucked

Instructions for Shrimps in spicy coconut sauce

To prepare the Shrimps in spicy coconut sauce recipe, please follow these instructions:

Chop onion and garlic. Chop chilli fine incl. Cores, according to strength.
Shed cloves and cilantro
Light in a mortar.
Step all in oil incl. Spices a couple of minutes. Add coconut milk and water and allow the dish to simmer approx. 3/4 hour under cover.
Add the shrimp and lemon juice, warm through and taste.
Serves with fresh cilantro and rice.
