Ingredients for Piquant chicken

0.5Pepper fruit
0.5tspTabasco
1tbspCajun spice
1Green bell pepper
1dlFood oil
1tspSweet paprika
1Large onion
1tspSugar
1.25dlWheat flour
120gClarified butter
2cloveFinely chopped garlic
2Short leaf celery stalks
2.5dlWater
425gSkinned minced tomatoes

Instructions for Piquant chicken

To prepare the Piquant chicken recipe, please follow these instructions:

Mix the cajun spice, oregano, paprika and flour. Sprinkle chicken fillets with this spice mixture. Save a little of the mixture (2 tbsp.).

Cajun vegetables – Onion, bell pepper and celery be able, and chopped fine. Saute the vegetable mixture, and the extra ½ bell pepper (cut into small cubes) in half of the butter and oil for about 6 minutes until they are soft. Add garlic and sauté it in a moment.

Add tomatoes, tabasco and sugar and let the sauce simmer without lids for about 12 minutes. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons. of the seasoned flour in the sauce and add 2 ½ dl. water while stirring. Stir in the sauce and cook it to the thickens.

Heat the rest of the butter and oil in a pan and fry the chicken fillets until tender and the surface is crispy.

Pour the sauce over the chicken fillets and serve them accompanied by a fresh green salad as well as a good piece of bread.
