To prepare the Pig-o-letter recipe, please follow these instructions:
The Gris-O-Letters will probably be ordered today at the butcher, I do not think they can be bought anymore, you can also make them yourself, see under addictive comments.
The gris-o-glasses are browned on both sides and placed in a small frying pan or oven-proof dish.
The onions are peeled and cut in both, the pears are cleansed and cut into slices, the tomatoes are halved and all spread between the pig-o-lighter. Slightly boil water and cover the dish with foil and put in a 225 degree hot oven for about 45 minutes.
The gris-o-bars are served with chopped parsley, white potatoes and possibly a salad
