To prepare the Hvidkåls pudding recipe, please follow these instructions:
Approach
White cabbage chop coarsely and boil until it is tender. Pour boiling water from and save it.
The meat is stirred with eggs, breadcrumbs, water, chopped onion, salt and pepper.
Cabbage and sausage meat be layered in a heat-proof platter. The top layer must be cabbages. Brush if necessary. with liquid margarine.
"Pudding" is put in the oven at 200 degrees c. alm. oven for about 1 – 1 ½ hour.
Gravy: prepare a opbagt sauce of milk, water from the cabbage and stegesky from "pudding".
There are served boiled potatoes and beetroot or gherkins.
Tips:
If there is a residual left over tastes the almost better the day after, cut into slices and fried in the pan.
