Ingredients for Hummos
Juice of 1 lemon | ||
Salt | ||
Water for cooking | ||
1 | tbsp | Cumin seeds |
1/2 | dl | Olive oil |
2 | tbsp | Sour cream |
2 | tbsp | Tachine (sesame paste) |
3 | clove | Garlic |
500 | g | Chickpeas |
Instructions for Hummos
To prepare the Hummos recipe, please follow these instructions:
The chickpeas are soaked in plenty of water for approx. 24 hours. When the chickpeas are soaked the water is discarded and the chickpeas poured into a pan and covered with new water. Boils approx. 1 hour. Save the cooking water. Let the chickpeas cool off.
The chickpeas are blended with some of the boiling water. Use only so much boiling water that the texture becomes just like a porridge. Add the other ingredients and stir well or mix for a quick moment.
tips:
Humus can be decorated with chili and olives. Eaten as an accessory along with good sliced bread. Suitable for barbecue.
