To prepare the Green onion soup recipe, please follow these instructions:

Clean the vegetables and slice the onion and leeks into rings-tag most of the top with. cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces and toss the vegetables around in butter over low heat in 8-10 min. Add the soup, chives and a little salt and pepper and cook the vegetables quite tender. Blend them and pour back into the Pan pureen. Boil up, whip 1 spoonful of cream cheese in and season with salt and pepper. Stir in the rest of the cheese on a regular with cream for consistency as whipped cream. Pour the soup in warm bowls/plates up and put a spoonful of cream cheese with a little Basil in each clip. Serve immediately with a piece of good potato bread
