1000 | g | Green gooseberries, fresh |
150 | g | Sugar |
2 | tsp | Red melatin |
4 | dl | Water |
Instructions for Gooseberry jam
To prepare the Gooseberry jam recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stikkelsbærene nippes (flower of nippes) and rinsed.
The washed berries boiled in water for about 5 minutes. The berries moses easily with a ladle.
Melatin mixed in a cup of sugar and added under stirring. The mixture, season with additional sugar. Finally, the jam boil for another 2 minutes.
Finally, the jam is poured on pure glass that closes immediately.
Tips:
Variation: 1 stick of cinnamon may be added and cooked together with gooseberry and water. Cinnamon then taken up the rod.
