To prepare the Freezing cherries recipe, please follow these instructions:
Especially sidestep kirsebærrene suitable for deep-freezing. The cute, bright berries will be discoloured, but it can be prevented to some extent, if you add the freezing bed sheet ¾ TSP. Ascorbic acid per ½ litre.
Sidestep kirsebærrene can be frozen down, as they are, or in a syrup.
For 1 kg of berries a syrup of boiled ½ liter water and 300 g sugar. The cherries are washed and udstenes with e.g. a hairpin. Added in freezer packaging and brine poured over. The berries should just barely be covered.
Sweet cherries can only be frozen in brine, which is fortified with Ascorbic acid as described.
