Instructions for Farsed turkey - stuffed turkey
To prepare the Farsed turkey - stuffed turkey recipe, please follow these instructions:
Cut a cross into the top of the chestnuts, place them in a hot oven until the skull breaks, remove the shells and brown barrels and cook them until they are tender - 20-30 min. Chop them nicely. The chopped onion, the celery celery and the crumbled french bread are fried in the butter, salt and spices are added and stirring well. The chestnuts come in and it all fries for a few minutes. Fill the turkey with this mixture after first sprinkling it inside and out with salt and pepper. Sew the turkey together with a stopper needle and cotton yarn, iron it with melted butter and place it in a ladder. Cover it with several layers of cheese slice dipped in melted butter or butter-lined aluminum foil. Step the turkey in a preheated oven at 160 °. The smoked cheesecake or aluminum foil ensures continuous dripping. The turkey should rise approx. 4 hours. Remove the cloth or aluminum for the last ½ hour of the cooking time. Serve the turkey with a cranberry compote.
