To prepare the Dulce de leche (Milk dessert) recipe, please follow these instructions:

For every litre of milk used ½ kg. sugar is put over to cook in a clay pot email. You can use sour milk, the taste will be a little stronger.

Milk and sugar to the boil and simmer for 3 hours, you shall have to be careful that it does not burn on. The mass becomes gradually dark and so thick that one drop thereof poured into cold water forms a little ball.

When boiling is about to be finished, add 1 tbsp. Minced lemon peel, a piece of absolute must and some pieces of cinnamon. The pot is taken by the fire, and one must touch very heavily in the few minutes.

Iced with biscuits to be eaten.
