2-3 | clove | Garlic |
25 | g | Yeast |
3 | dl | Lukewarm water |
3-4 | tbsp | Basil (dry or fresh chopped) |
500 | g | Wheat flour |

To prepare the Delicious Italian basil bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Dough: Honey and salt come into the water and the yeast is piped out. The flour is added and the dough is well kneaded. Set cover for raising 1½ hours. Then the dough is formed into a slightly elongated bread approx. 1 to 1½ cm high. It is laid on the baking sheet and placed again covered for raising a loose place approx. 1 hour.
The oil comes in a small bowl and the basil is brought in. The garlic cloves are also squeezed into the bowl and everything is stirred around.
When the bread is raised, gently pierce the bread with your fingers and brush the oil-basil mixture on top and then bake the bread for 15 minutes. At 200-225 degrees. When the bread has cooled a little, cut it in relatively thin "sticks" and serve.
It's a nice little accessory for example. salads. Tastes delicious and the recipe is easy to remember in the head.
