Instructions for Bisi (pancake bread)
To prepare the Bisi (pancake bread) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix all ingredients except the lukewarm water that is added gradually. The dough is kneaded thoroughly (it may have to stick a little) when done. Set aside for a slight spot for half an hour. The dough is thrown down and shaped into 10 bowls. The balls are rolled out into the size of the pan. There are 3 air holes with fingers in the pancake. In a pan so much oil is heated that it is about 2 cm up from the bottom. When the oil is very hot, put the pancake gently and it will quickly bubble up. The cake is reversed after a couple of minutes with a fork. The finished pancakes are put to drain on the kitchen roll. Soak up the forehead with oil gradually so that there is always the same amount of oil in the forehead. Bisi is served for egg salad or as accessory for various Pilav dishes. The pancakes can be frozen and reheated in the oven, but tastes best freshly baked.
