To prepare the Apple crumble with custard recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix sugar, flour and butter together to have the same consistency as rasp. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees. Pour the apple sauce into a dish and pour the "rasp" over. Bake on the middle rib for about 30 minutes, it is done when the "rasp" is golden.
Warm milk and cream gently in a saucepan, DO NOT boil. Whip egg yolks and sugar well together in a bowl. Temper the egg yolks with a little of the warm milk mixture and gently mix the egg mixture into the pan. Warm the mixture with constant stirring. Keep in mind that the mixture must not boil. When the mixture is evenly poured it through a slice and is ready for serving.
